Secure Email

While e-mail is a quick and easy way to communicate, it also presents its own unique set of security challenges. E-mail can be an enticing target for attackers looking to steal sensitive corporate data, commit identity theft, and disrupt business processes.

Traditional e-mail is sent unsecured across the internet by forwarding your e-mail through various third party servers until it finally reaches the recipient. Eavesdropping, identity theft, e-mail tampering, phishing, and others all pose serious threats to your email as it travels unsecured across the internet. True's Secure E-mail offers the same easy communication as traditional e-mail but provides an extra secure layer of protection, which prevent attackers from gaining access to your e-mail, all without changing any of your usual business practices.

The ability to prove that e-mail has been sent and read is becoming increasingly important to people who conduct business over the Internet. In addition, standard e-mail does not provide a reliable means of verifying the identity of the sender or receiver of an e-mail message.

The Answer:

True Secure E-mail offers an e-mail security service that guarantees a secure transmission path from your computer to your recipient's computer.

The True Secure E-mail service provides e-mail control and features not found in traditional e-mail systems.

  • Audits of all secure e-mail transactions that will include date, time, subject, message size, attachments, replies, IP address, and message viewed timestamps
  • Required documentation to provide non-repudiation
  • Audits will be prepared and delivered per the client's request of daily, weekly or monthly schedules
  • Customized forms for recipients to enter information
  • Person-to-person authentication - through optional password protection of the message
  • Ability to securely reply to messages
  • Multiple recipients per each secure transmission
  • Client controlled or time based removal of messages
  • User interface branding with logos, backgrounds, etc.
  • Automatic e-mail signatures verifying sender
  • Ease of use for our clients who have no technical expertise

True Secure E-mail leaves the option of sending e-mail secured or unsecured up to the sender. By tagging the message, via a keyword in the subject line, our system will initiate an encrypted transmission of the message. It will also provide the option of sending all e-mail messages securely, eliminating the tagging feature. Once our system has received the message, it will be stored encrypted on True's server and a random web link will be generated and e-mailed to the recipient. Upon clicking this link, a secure web page will open allowing the recipient to view the message. The recipient will then be able to save it for later viewing, download it for their records, or securely reply to the message.

While this changes the way the e-mail is sent, it does not change the way YOU send e-mail.
