Across the hall of our office is a room full of empty abandoned file cabinets. Each morning as I pass this room I can't help but think that their lack of need is the reason why our company is thriving. Once the predominant storage of a company's critical information, traditional file storage has been left behind and replaced by PCs and file servers. In my mind, the file cabinet graveyard portrays the fundamental shift in the way companies are doing business.
Today, companies of all sizes rely on critical information technology (IT) systems to conduct business. But even as they enjoy the benefits of modern technology, they undoubtedly face some degree of risk. Fortunately, the government understands this emerging reliance on technology and subsequently responded through the creation of the Federal Cyber Corps Program. Universities, such as the University of Tulsa, have been instrumental in educating this new work force of security experts. After watching many of the best and the brightest graduate to take jobs with various government agencies such as the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), I vowed to find a way to bring this native talent back home. Thus began DESA Research.
Under DESA Research I recruited a team of computer security experts from across the country and gave them a single task: to create a suite of comprehensive, scalable, and practical security solutions. After years of research and development, my dream of government level security solutions with the flexibility required to meet the dynamic needs of business culminated with the launch of True Digital Security.
At True, we are more than just a security provider. True works to be an integral part of your team, helping you make informed decisions while enabling your business to work securely.
